The Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) has officially announced the schedule for its 59th Annual General Meeting (AGM) and the election of its 25th Executive Committee. The AGM and election are scheduled to take place on August 14, 2026 (Shrawan 29, 2083 BS) in Kathmandu, following a decision made during the association's 24th Executive Committee meeting held on July 8, 2026.
According to NATTA, the upcoming AGM will provide members with an opportunity to review the association’s activities over the past year while electing a new leadership team to guide the organization for the next term. The association stated that a detailed election programme, nomination process, and AGM agenda will be released through a separate official notice in the coming days.
To ensure eligibility for voting, NATTA has urged all general members to renew their membership no later than July 14, 2026 (Ashadh 30, 2083 BS) during official office hours. As per the association’s constitution, only members who complete their renewal at least one month before the election will be included in the final voters’ list and be eligible to cast their votes.
The association further clarified that members renewing their membership after the stipulated deadline will not be entitled to voting rights for the upcoming election. NATTA has therefore requested all eligible members to complete the renewal process within the prescribed timeframe to avoid disqualification.
The 59th AGM and leadership election are expected to play a significant role in shaping the future direction of Nepal’s leading umbrella organization representing tour and travel agencies. The newly elected executive committee will be responsible for steering NATTA’s initiatives aimed at strengthening Nepal’s tourism industry and enhancing the interests of travel entrepreneurs across the country.
